Department of Radiology

 The department of radiology is equipped with the latest high technology equipment. We offer our patients all types of x-ray and ultrasound tests, high-field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), high resolution computed tomography, digital mammography. 
     The department is equipped with unique medical equipment:
     High-field MRI device MagnetomVerio 3.0 Teslo (Siemens) – an exclusive device in Kazakhstan;
Digital X-ray Mammography device “Mammomat Novation DR” (Siemens) – one of the two digital mammography devices existing in Kazakhstan.

Uniqueness of thedepartment’s technology:
   Multidetector X-ray computer tomography (40 slices) is performed on patients with the diseases of thoracic organs, abdominal cavity, retroperitoneal space, and pelvic organs with administration of a bolus intravenous contrast. Computed tomography of spine, bones,joints and skull is supplemented by three-dimensional reconstruction of the resulting images in three planes. 
     X-ray tests are mainly performed on two digital devices; they are Axiom I CONOS R200 and Aristos, except for routine tests. 
   There are also other methods offered, such as excretory urography, esophagus and stomach examinations which require special patient’s preparation. 
   The mammography test room is based on standards of foreign clinics: breast ultrasound examination and mammography, breast biopsy under ultrasound control, contrast examination of milk ducts with contrastductography are performed by radiologist-mammologist.
