JCI accreditation is the most objective and prestigious international certification in the field of healthcare which is considered to be the «Gold Standard» in quality and serves as a proof for compliance of a healthcare organization with internationally accepted clinical and administrative standards
The Joint Commission International (JCI) is the international wing of the U.S. healthcare accreditation body of The Joint Commission which has been operating in the United States for over 75 years and has been responsible for promoting and improving the quality of patient care and safety in healthcare organizations.
Today, JCI has a presence in more than 39 countries , including the Europe (Ireland, Spain, Denmark, Italy and others), the South America (Brazil), the Far East (India, China, Singapore and others) and the Near East (Israel, Egypt, Jordan, the UAE and others). To date, more than 300 healthcare organizations in the government and private sector have received this certificate of quality and patient safety.
The mission of JCI is to continuously improve the safety and quality of care in the international community through the provision of education and advisory services and international accreditation and certification.
In 2012, the «Republican Diagnostic Center» JSC (the RDC) had its initial assessment by JCI surveyors.
This year, the RDC is preparing for the second step in the accreditation process – the mock survey. The final step in the accreditation process – the final JCI accreditation – is planned in 2014.
